About Me

I am Katherine Ong, a UX designer dedicated to crafting intuitive and user-centric digital experiences that align with business goals.

I am currently completing an intensive UX design boot camp at BrainStation, where I developed a strong foundation in user-centered design principles and applied them to real-world projects. Throughout the program, I gained hands-on experience in key UX methodologies such as user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and interaction design. I also collaborated with cross-functional teams to solve a complex design challenge, where I was about to work collaboratively with other designers.

In my current role, I apply these skills by working with clients across industries such as healthcare and agriculture, designing and modernizing apps that address their specific business challenges. This experience has allowed me to integrate UX strategies into product development, ensuring solutions that are both functional and user-friendly.

My background in marketing has given me a unique perspective on user engagement and behavior, helping me bridge the gap between design and business objectives. I thrive in cross-functional teams, balancing user needs with technical feasibility to deliver thoughtful, data-driven solutions.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and cooking for my loved ones
